Local-first routing. Your DIA sits one hop from the exchange — Philippine destinations stay on-net, never round-tripping through Singapore or Tokyo.
True symmetric capacity. Upload matches download. No oversubscription, no asymmetric “business broadband” trickery.
Fixed public addressing. Static IPv4 plus an IPv6 /64 (or larger) so you can host services, run mail, and bind VPNs without dynamic-address headaches.

Why order a local loop from UE-IX

One project owner. Civil works, splicing, OTDR, demarc — one team from survey to acceptance test.
Transport-agnostic. The loop is yours to use — carry our DIA, a competitor’s transit, a private MPLS service, or your own dark-fiber overlay.
Diverse-path delivery. Where geography allows, we deliver via geographically diverse fiber so a single cut doesn’t take you down.
Cross-connect to the IX. If your loop terminates at a UE-IX presence, peering and DIA become a port-config change — not a new build.
Standard Ethernet handoff. No carrier-specific media or proprietary CPE — we hand off clean Ethernet you can plug straight into your switch or router.
Observable performance. We monitor optical levels, BER, and Ethernet errors on the access circuit so degradation is caught before it becomes an outage.

What a leased line gives you

Dedicated capacity. Bandwidth is yours alone — no other customers share it, no contention, no surprise slowdowns at peak.
Predictable latency. The circuit follows a known fiber path, so RTT is stable and predictable for voice, replication, and real-time applications.
Off-internet by default. Branch traffic never traverses the public internet, removing an entire class of attack surface and exposure.
Layer-2 transparency. EPL hands you a clean Ethernet pipe between sites — run any IP scheme, VLAN trunks, or even non-IP protocols across it.
Protected variants. Optional dual-path with sub-second protection switching for sites that cannot tolerate outages.
Pair with DIA for SD-WAN underlay. Use leased lines as the trusted underlay and DIA for the burst path — with consistent operator support across both.

Why take transit from UE-IX

Blended, carrier-diverse upstreams. Multiple upstream providers behind one BGP session — diversity without managing multiple contracts and sessions yourself.
Peering-aware routing. Domestic prefixes ride the IX fabric; only genuinely foreign traffic burns transit capacity. Your effective cost per megabit drops.
